First consultation: the first step towards the best result
Good results begin to develop on the first visit.
The objective of the visit is to get to know the patient in depth. Therefore, during this visit:
- A ‘Clinical History’ will be created in which the reason for the consultation, wishes and expectations, and personal history will be reflected.
- A physical examination will be performed to give us the clues as to what may be the best option for the patient.
- We make a diagnosis and propose to the patient the most appropriate treatment to meet his expectations, the pros and cons of the proposed treatment and the possible alternatives.
- We explain the possible complications that your surgery may have through the explanation and delivery of the ‘Informed Consent’.
- We will request the pertinent preoperative study.
The patient will leave the consultation and new doubts will arise, so we advise the patient to visit us at least two more times before an intervention, until everything is clear.

- E.C.G. (Electrocardiogram)
- Depending on the case we may need other tests such as chest x-rays, mammograms, etc.

Post-operative follow-up and recovery
Once discharged from the hospital, during the first month we meet 1-2 times a week, to perform the necessary cures, removal of stitches and explain all the guidelines for recovery and incorporation to your normal life.
After the first month, we will meet at 2 months, 6 months and 1 year to control and take pictures.
Although the consultation will always be open for any doubt or problem that you may have to ask us.
